About Me

Just a few words about myself and my photography. I was born and raised in Northern Michigan and have lived here all my life. In college, I was an art student who fell into photography quite by accident, and ended up as an assistant for a local wedding photographer for almost 2 years, gaining much needed experience in the business before branching out on my own. I have been a professional photographer for 14 years, and feel that this career was truly meant for me.

Outdoor settings are some of my most favorite for creating beautiful portraits, and Northern Michigan has so much to offer, whether it's the beach, a park, or just a casual backyard setting. I am very flexible and always open to new ideas or suggestions you may have.

In addition to weddings, I also photograph many families, company parties or reunions, high school seniors, sports and other special events. I look forward to many more rewarding years in the "photo business".
